Registration

  • Students participants must be registered by their faculty advisers. Advisers: Please use the "add guest" feature rather than creating individual registrations. You MUST add a students' actual email addresses for them to gain access to the QiqoChat conference platform. Regular registration deadline Is Thursday, Nov. 5. After that Late Registration is $30.
  • This registration is for those who register after Nov. 5. It is for new registrations only, NOT for name changes. Students participants must be registered by their faculty advisers. Registration is closed

JACC’s combined virtual Fall Conference will be held in a dynamic online space Friday Nov. 6 to Sunday Nov. 8. Friday’s activities will run from 3-8 p.m. Saturday: 10-3 p.m. and Sunday noon to 3 p.m. (awards ceremony at 2 p.m. will be the last event). The conference will include workshops, contests, and separate student and faculty meetings (one from each per college must attend). Representatives from transfer institutions will be on hand to answer questions about their journalism and mass communication programs.

Students and faculty will be registered by the email address they provide, and must use that email address to log into the conference after 3 p.m. Friday Nov. 6 at this link: JACC Fall Conference

Once in, students and faculty are strongly encouraged to add your name and a profile photo so others can recognize you in the workshops and mingling spaces.

REGISTRATION: $25 per student/faculty delegate. Registration deadline is Thursday Nov. 5.

Late Registration: After Nov. 5, the fee will be $30.

Advisers should register their entire delegation by using the "add guest" function in the registration tool. Include students’ real email addresses; that is the only way they can enter the space. Please do not register student delegates with separate registrations.

NOTE: There are no refunds. Requests for a registration cancellation or credit will be honored only through the regular registration deadline, Nov. 5. There are no credits for no-shows.

  • Substitutions are free before a participant enters the event site (by email address).
  • Once a participant has entered, you will need to complete a new registration for any additional participants.
  • The process for making substitutions will be explained via email to the JACC membership Google groups list serve.
