Registration

  • Students participants must be registered by their faculty advisers. Advisers: Please use the "add guest" feature rather than creating individual registrations. Regular registration deadline has been extended through Tuesday, Nov. 5. After that Late Registration is $60.
  • This registration is for those who register after Nov. 5. It is for new registrations only, NOT for name changes. Lunch is not guaranteed for those who register after Nov. 7.
  • Complimentary registration for professionals who have been invited to attend the conference.

  • This registration is for volunteers who work the conference, and for the host delegation.
  • Four-year transfer institutions may join JACC as members and receive free tabling at regional conferences and the annual convention. Contact Cindy McGrath at mcgrathlmc@aol.com for information as needed. If you sign up for free tabling and have not yet registered your college as an associate institutional member, you will be billed for the $250 membership fee. If you would like to table as a non-member, select regional conference registration option 8 to pay the $100 tabling fee for NorCal.

Registration is closed

The annual JACC NorCal Conference will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 and will include a full day of workshops, on-the-spot contests and meetings at San Jose State University, One Washington Square., San Jose, CA 95192. The conference is hosted this year by San Jose State's School of Journalism and Mass Communication and will be held in Dwight Bentel Hall. In addition, representatives from Northern California transfer institutions will be on hand to answer questions about their journalism and mass communication programs.

REGISTRATION: $50 per student/faculty delegate and includes lunch. Regular registration deadline has been extended through Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Late Registration: After Nov. 5 the fee will be $60. Although we will try to feed everyone if we have adequate notice, lunch cannot be guaranteed for late delegates registering onsite.

Name changes: Free for on-time registrations through Nov. 7. After Nov. 7, there will be a $10 late name change fee (not applicable to late registrations).

Advisers should register their entire delegation by using the "add guest" function in the registration tool. Please do not register student delegates with separate registrations.

NOTE: There are no refunds. Requests for a registration cancellation or credit will be honored only through the regular registration deadline. There are no credits for no-shows.
